We operate in Hoima and Kikuube Districts
Project Goal
Empowered, self-reliant, and resilient Baptist Church members and communities in the greater Masaka area, actively driving holistic and sustainable community transformation.
Overall Project Objective
To strengthen the capacity of Baptist churches and local communities in Kalungu and Lwengo Districts to improve household livelihoods, promote self-reliance, and foster sustainable community development through the Church and Community Transformation approach.
Project Outcomes
- Improved capacity of Baptist churches to facilitate holistic community transformation through the Church and Community Transformation (CCT) approach.
- Increased household income among church members and community households through sustainable livelihood initiatives, particularly coffee production and improved agricultural practices.
- Strengthened collaboration and linkages between Baptist churches, Local Government authorities, financial institutions, and private sector partners to enhance community development and economic opportunities.
- Increased community ownership and participation in identifying, planning, and implementing locally driven development initiatives.
- Improved stewardship of local resources and strengthened resilience of households through sustainable environmental and economic practices.
